Ever considered getting into juniors, grassroots football management and coaching? Do you have a good tempermant and want to make a difference?

We're looking to setup a new U7, U8 or U9 Girls' or Boys' team this coming season, and, if you're interested, we may be able to help?

Coaching is rewarding, both in regard to seeing youngsters flourish and enjoying a team sport under your stewardship, and in generally helping your local community.

Borehamwood 2000 FC is an excellent club, very friendly with low registration fees and a wonderful home ground.

We have a long history in developing coaching talent so if this resonates, contact us and let's have a chat?

The FA has announced grassroots football is back, with competitive training, friendlies from August and Leagues kicking off in September! The Wood's kids are buzzing, training beautifully, Herts FA affiliation is complete and 20/21 player registration is in full swing.

At present, we are fielding five teams for the new season: U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U11 Boys, U12 Boys & U18 Girls. All our sides are thriving, enjoying twice weekly training sessions and have squad numbers running close to capacity. However, we are always on the look out for keen and friendly players to train and play with us. In particular, and as they make the move to 7aside football, our U10 Girls are looking to grow their squad and have a couple of spaces free. Interested? Use our New Player Enquiry form and let's get the ball rolling!

The Club are also keen to develop one or two more teams in the younger age ranges and if that tickles your fancy, again, get in touch?

Registration fees for the 20/21 season using our one-payment plan are as listed below and are once again amongst the very lowest of any juniors' football club:

U10 - £100 for the season.

U11 - £110 for the season.

U12 - £130 for the season.
U18 - £170 for the season.

When they join, all new players receive full playing kit and personalised club rainjacket and training top.

We predominantly train at our Pursley home ground and there is never any charge associated with this. When the clocks go back and the light goes, we move training to the astro at Borehamwood FC or similar. A separate charge is made for this, split between the group and advised by the individual team manager at the time. As a rough guide, this costs in the region of £50 per player, with payments spread out over the winter months. When the light returns, we recommence training at Pursley, without charge as before.

Welcome to the website of

Borehamwood 2000 FC

Borehamwood 2000 FC is an FA Charter Standard, friendly and competitive youth football club for both girls and boys.

We are also an Arsenal Women Sister Club!

For the 2020/21 season, we will be running at least five teams: Boys U10, U11 & U12, and Girls U10 & U18. The boys teams will compete in the Watford Friendly League, while the girls will play in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League.

We are keen to start up some younger sides, so if this is of interest, we may be able to help; get off the couch and get in touch?! Furthermore, we are always welcoming and try to accomodate new players whenever we can. If you are looking for a new challenge and like having fun, get in contact with us?!

Formerly the junior section of the National League's Borehamwood FC, we re-formed as our own club in the year 2000 and have been going strong ever since!

Our ground is based at Pursley Playing Fields, London Road, Shenley, Herts WD7 9EW. We play all our home matches here and train here also, apart from in the winter months, when we move over to the astro turf at our old parent club, Borehamwood FC.

Our registration and training fees are very competitive and, as we have only a small number of teams, we are able to ensure that every penny is directed to our most valuable assets - our fantastic kids!
