Club Secretary & Child Welfare Officer 2023/24 - Mary Marshall

I've lived locally for many years and my son plays for the club too.

Whilst I can’t claim to be an expert on football, I have attended many training sessions and games over the years and I’m pleased to be able to offer my support to this super club, its coaches, parents and children.

Any queries, just email me on clubsec_cwo@borehamwood2000fc.co.uk

U9 Girls Manager 2023/24 - Gareth Friend

Born in Brighton, I've been a supporter of the mighty Seagulls since the 80s. I’ve always had a passion for football, so when asked to help manage the U9 Girls I jumped at the chance, and have to admit it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. I am very proud to be part of this spirited and enthusiastic group of young players.

U9 Girls Coach 2023/24 - Lia Evans

I started playing when I was 11 years old and have had some very successful years at Borehamwood 2000. I am currently studying and playing at the Arsenal Women Football Education programme at college. The club sponsored me and I am now Level 1 accredited. Our U9 Girls are doing fabulously and I'm so proud to coach them!

Girls Coach 2023/24 - Susie Branigan

Susie has played a full and active part in girls' football at the Wood for many years, the catalyst for which has been her talented daughter's love of the game. Susie retired from the junior game last season but, answered the call and has now returned to support girls' football once again!

U13 Girls Manager 2023/24 - Dave Hobbs

I was born and bred in Borehamwood, representing QPR as a teenager then playing semi-professionally for local clubs including Tring Town and Potters Bar. I have forty years playing experience of the game I love and a wealth of knowledge I want to pass on to the next generation of players.

I am an FA Level 1 coach and ready to give my all to the children I coach. If you want to learn and be part of an exciting new team, come and join me and my daughter on what promises to be a great adventure!

U13 Girls Liaison Officer 2023/24 - Sarah Cramb

I've lived in Borehamwood all my life, have always loved sport and keeping fit and am thrilled to coach the girls and my daughter alongside my partner, Dave. My son also plays with the U15 boys, so we have busy weekends during the playing season, but, we wouldn't have it any other way and the rewards are huge.

U13 Girls Coach 2023/24 - Richard Engel

I've been at the club for many years now after my daughter got the footie bug! I quickly became part of the coaching staff and hugely enjoy helping the girls improve their games. Their development has been amazing and we're looking forward to great things! Family and the kids are at the heart of everything we do at Borehamwood 2000.

U13 Girls Coach 2023/24, Joe Adams

U13 Boys Manager 2023/24, Frank Patrick

I first played at our Pursley home over 50 years ago for Pursley United and have been around local football playing and managing ever since: for London Colney, Colney Heath & Sandridge Rovers to name but, a few. I am also a keen walking footballer and can shake a leg when I need to! I now bring this experience to support my young grandson and his team-mates as they play their first season on the full size pitch!

U13 Boys Coach 2023/24, Greg Hartslief

Originally from the stunning South African veld, I moved here 20 years ago and fell in love with the beautiful game of football. I certified at FA Level 1 a few years back and have been coaching ever since. I joined the Wood several years ago and have loved every minute since. This club has a wonderful atmosphere and I’m very proud to be coaching such a wonderful team.

U13 Boys Coach 2023/24, Grant Ward

I was born in Borehamwood, and as a youngster played for Borehamwood Youth and Maxwell Park (coached by Frank Patrick at this time)! During my youth, I represented the League and County as well as playing for Watford & Boreham Wood FC, then as an adult, with Elliot Star in the Herts County Premier League. I now take great enjoyment in being able to able spend time with my son and his team-mates, guiding them and helping the team grow.

U14 Boys Manager 2023/24, Craig Parratt

I’ve lived in Borehamwood all my life and played football for local teams for the last 30 years. After finally realising that it wasn’t others getting quicker but me getting slower, I hung up my boots and took the plunge into management. I couldn’t have joined a better club. They’ve made me feel really welcome and with the great bunch of lads we've got together we hope to have a lot of successful years to come.

U14 Boys Coach 2023/24, Matthew See

I've played football all my life and coach 6 days a week; on Saturday I have the day off to follow my beloved Borehamwood FC! When I’m not coaching, I’m either playing, officiating or analysing football. I’m currently studying football coaching and management at UCFB. I joined Borehamwood 2000 because I regularly ref there and everyone has been so welcoming and nice so it was the perfect place to start coaching!

U15 Boys Manager 2023/24, Club Chairman & Treasurer - Dave Makamian

I once played semi professionally for the mighty Edgware Town but, got old and just a little portly, so packed it all in to focus on youth football! Always on the look out for motivated and ambitious players so if that is you, get in contact now; email me via chair@borehamwood2000fc.co.uk

U15 Boys Coach 2023/24 - Marcus Montgomery

I grew up playing for local teams in Borehamwood and still try to play as much as possible. Joined the Wood some years ago with my son, wanted to coach and with the club's sponsorship am now FA Level 1 certified. I've not looked back and am proud to be part of the footballing family at Borehamwood 2000, keeping this great team spirit we have going within the club!

U15 Boys Coach 2023/24 - Paul Manning

Barnet born and bred, I'm footie mad having supported Barnet FC for 45 years whilst also playing for Hadley FC back in the day!
Started the journey with Borehamwood 2000 some years ago when my daughter first signed up. My son joined the boys some time after and the welcome we received from parents and staff was amazing. I’m proud to be part of the coaching team now and strive to help our players develop into great footballers and great people.
