Yet more rain on an already wet surface meant we were unable to host any games at Pursley this weekend. Away from home, however, both our U9 Girls and U11 Boys turned it on.
First up were the girls, Lois scoring two crackers to take her season's total to an incredible 18, while Emily whipped in a wonderful corner that almost went straight into the net! All the team worked incredibly hard and PoM went to Lola, who ran ceaselessly and just never gave up. Well done you girls!
U11 Boys faced another away game and came out the blocks fast, the impressive Henry slinging across a super ball that was met with panache by the on running Luke, grabbing his third goal in two games and starting off 2020 with a real bang! Captain Ben enjoyed an awesome performance, running so hard he melted the studs on his boots, while MoM for the second week running went to Daniel, continuing to put in performances of great effort and technique.
