The inclement weather put paid to four of our games this weekend but, our U13 Boys did play their away game against APB in the Challenge Cup.
The boys started confidently matching their opponents well in the early stages. Keeper Lehouimel was in excellent form, pulling off several outstanding saves but, APB managed to convert some chances and took a 3-0 lead in at half time.
The Wood conceded another after half time and the heads went down a little as APB took control. Even so, Ellams and Joyce got stuck in hard, producing many solid tackles before Joyce produced a visionary pass for MoM O' Rourke to cap off with a splendid finish, adding to his goals total and a growing reputation. The final score ended 8-1.
The boys host London Colney next week at Pursley and weather permitting, will be going for it flat out!
